Dr. Kyaw Thet Naing
Dr Kyaw Thet Naing studied medicine at the University of Medicine 1, Yangon, and received his MBBS in 2006.
From 2008 to 2010, he worked as a Medical Officer at Shwe Pyi Thar Hospital, followed by a Medical Officer role at OSC Hospital from 2010 to 2012.
In 2012, he continued his medical learning in Malaysia, working as a Medical Officer at Queen Elizabeth Hospital until 2014.
In 2015, he received the Diploma in Dermatology (Australia). Between 2019 and 2025, he received FRCP (London), FRCP (Glasgow), MRCP (UK) and MRCPS (Glasgow) through the Royal Colleges of Physicians in the UK, and completed the MSc Dermatology. FRCP (Edin) was additionally achieved in 2026. He continued postgraduate medical and dermatology study in the United Kingdom and gained clinical experience in NHS hospitals between 2021 and 2025.
From 2021 to 2022, he worked at Ealing Hospital, UK, as a Medical Register (Internal Medicine), From 2022 to 2023, he was a Dermatology Clinical Fellow at Wirral University Teaching Hospital, UK. From 2023 to 2025, he worked as a Specialty Doctor in Dermatology at The Princess Alexandra Hospital, UK.
He is now based in Yangon, providing guidance on skin health, acne and aesthetic concerns. Under the name “Dr Naing”, he has written articles and shared dermatology and beauty knowledge through television talk shows and interviews.
His professional activities also include medical book publication, Clinical Audit, Quality Improvement Projects, and teaching and sharing medical knowledge in Myanmar and abroad.
