01 / Trust, Safety & Clinic Credentials
Is Dr. Naing a medical doctor or an aesthetician?
Dr Naing (Dr Kyaw Thet Naing) is a medical doctor. He received his MBBS from the University of Medicine 1, Yangon, in 2006, and has clinical experience in Myanmar, Malaysia and the United Kingdom.
What are Dr. Naing’s qualifications and international experience?
Dr Naing’s qualifications include a Diploma in Dermatology (Australia), FRCP (London), FRCP (Glasgow), MRCP (UK), MRCPS (Glasgow), MSc Dermatology (UK) and FRCP (Edin, 2026). His UK clinical experience includes Ealing Hospital, Wirral University Teaching Hospital and The Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Is this a medical clinic for skin diseases, or just a beauty salon?
Dr Naing Skin & Beauty provides clinical consultations for skin and hair concerns as well as aesthetic services. Patients can discuss acne, melasma, pigmentation, scars, keloids and hair or scalp concerns, and receive guidance on appropriate assessment and treatment.
Are the HIFU and laser machines certified, and are they safe for my skin type?
Before HIFU or laser treatment, our team can explain the device model, how the procedure works and the device documentation available for review. Dr Naing will assess your skin type, medical history and treatment area before advising whether the procedure is suitable. Not every treatment is appropriate for every person.
Will I have privacy during body contouring or intimate laser treatment?
Your comfort and privacy matter to us. Please tell our booking team if you have questions about privacy during body contouring or intimate-area laser treatment. We can explain the room arrangements, draping and who may be present before your visit.
02 / First Steps & Consultation
How do I book an appointment? Can I book online?
You can book online through Picktime. If you need help booking or want to confirm service availability at a branch, contact our team through Messenger or Viber/phone at 095120954.
Do I need to consult Dr. Naing before HIFU or laser, or can I book a session directly?
Before HIFU or laser, we recommend discussing your skin, medical history and goals with Dr Naing so the treatment can be assessed for suitability. When booking through Picktime, let our team know whether you need a consultation, a treatment session, or both, and confirm availability at your chosen branch.
What is the 3D AI Skin Analysis? Is it just an attempt to sell me products?
Our 3D AI Smart Skin Analyzer examines skin features such as pores, oil, melanin and dark spots to support your consultation. The scan is not a standalone medical diagnosis. We will explain the findings and the reason for any suggested product or treatment, and you can ask questions before deciding what is right for you.
Can I have the treatment on the same day as my consultation?
We can check whether consultation and treatment can be scheduled on the same day. This depends on appointment availability, the clinician’s assessment and service availability at the branch, so please let our team know when booking.
03 / Pain, Comfort & The Treatment Experience
Does HIFU hurt? Will I need numbing cream?
HIFU may cause warmth, tingling or brief discomfort. The experience varies by person and treatment area. Discuss pain sensitivity and comfort options with the clinician beforehand, and do not apply numbing cream on your own unless your clinician advises you to.
Is laser hair removal painful on areas such as the upper lip, underarms or bikini line?
Laser hair removal can feel warm or like brief snapping sensations, and sensitivity differs between the upper lip, underarms and bikini line. The laser system uses cooling technology, but this does not mean treatment is completely sensation-free. Tell the clinician which areas are sensitive so comfort options can be discussed.
Will facial procedures such as pore care or the cold hammer be uncomfortable?
Facial protocols vary. The listed clinical facials may use a Bubble Pen, scrubber, ultrasonic device, cold hammer and light therapy; manual pore extraction is not necessarily part of every facial. Ask us to explain the steps planned for your chosen treatment, and tell the practitioner if anything feels uncomfortable.
Do Botox or fillers hurt, and will my face look frozen or unnatural?
Injections can cause brief discomfort, tenderness, redness, swelling or bruising. Results depend on the product, placement, amount and your facial features. Discuss the look you want, realistic expectations, risks and alternatives with the doctor before proceeding.
04 / Results & Effectiveness
When will I see a lift from HIFU, and how long will the result last?
When HIFU results become noticeable and how long they last varies by person, treatment area and clinical plan. We cannot promise the same result or timeline for everyone. Dr Naing can discuss the likely changes, when to review the result and any suitable follow-up options for your concern.
How many laser sessions will I need? Will hair grow back thicker?
The number of laser sessions depends on the area, hair colour and coarseness, skin characteristics and individual response. Laser aims to reduce unwanted hair, but complete or permanent hair removal cannot be guaranteed; some regrowth may occur. We can discuss a suitable treatment plan for your needs.
Which facial is best for very oily skin, acne or dark spots?
Oil Control & Pore Clarifier is designed for oily skin and pore congestion, while Dark Spot & Melanin Block focuses on dark spots and uneven pigmentation. Acne and pigmentation can have different causes, so speak with Dr Naing about which facial or medical treatment best suits your skin.
What should I do if I do not get the result I expected?
If the result is different from what you expected, contact our team to arrange a review. The doctor can assess your response to treatment and your aftercare before advising on next steps. Please have your skin reviewed before deciding whether further treatment is appropriate.
05 / Preparation, Downtime & Aftercare
Should I shave before laser, and should I stop plucking or waxing?
Please ask our team for the preparation instructions for your specific laser appointment. Shaving may be recommended, while waxing or plucking is commonly avoided before treatment because it removes hair from the root. Tell the clinician about recent tanning, medicines, a history of keloids or scarring, or any skin concerns.
Will my face be red, swollen or peeling after a facial or HIFU?
Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness or other reactions may occur after a facial or HIFU, depending on the procedure and your skin. Reactions vary, and peeling is not inevitable. Before you leave, ask what to expect and how to contact the clinic if you have concerns.
Can I put on makeup immediately and go back to work?
Whether you can apply makeup immediately or return to work depends on the procedure and your skin’s response. Ask your clinician when makeup is appropriate and whether you should plan for visible redness, swelling or other temporary effects.
Can I use my usual cleanser tonight, go to the gym or be in the sun?
Aftercare depends on the treatment you receive. Before leaving, ask when you may wash your face, which skincare products to pause, when you can return to exercise, and how to protect the treated area from sunlight. Follow the instructions given by your clinician, including sun protection after laser.
06 / Pricing, Packages & Payment
How is HIFU priced, and what do “shots” or “dots” mean?
Shot or dot counts are device-specific terms used to describe treatment delivery or coverage. Their exact meaning depends on the HIFU system and treatment area. Our clinician will explain the plan proposed for you, and our team can confirm the full cost before you agree to treatment.
Is a five- or ten-session laser package cheaper than paying per session?
We offer five-session and ten-session laser package options. Our team can confirm the current price, included treatment areas, package validity and conditions so you can compare the total package cost with individual sessions before purchasing.
Is there a discount if I book laser for both arms and legs?
Multi-area laser options may be available for areas such as the arms and legs. Eligibility and any discount depend on the current offer and the areas selected. Contact our team before booking so we can confirm what applies and the total price.
Are complimentary masks or light therapy included in facial or HIFU packages?
A complimentary Premium Soothing Mask is included with each session in the ten-session facial package described in our facial offer. HIFU aftercare options may include a soothing mask or Bio-light therapy, depending on the package. Our team will confirm the inclusions for your selected package before payment.
Do you offer VIP memberships?
Selected three-session VIP HIFU packages may be available. Contact our team for the current options, included treatments, validity and benefits.
Can I pay in instalments?
Please contact our team to confirm the payment methods available for your chosen service and whether an instalment option is currently offered for that package.
